Yes, LoriGPT is real. And no, I could not do this without her.

Yes, LoriGPT is real. And no, I could not do this without her.

Since starting this blog, I have received all kinds of feedback. Some encouraging. Some constructive. None (so far) requiring a crisis communications team.

But one comment keeps showing up:

“It’s refreshing to read a blog that doesn’t sound like it was written by ChatGPT.”

And every time, I smile. Because here is the little secret...

If it were not for LoriGPT, this blog would not exist.

Let me explain.

I have dyslexia and ADHD. Not exactly a shocker to anyone who has worked with me closely. And while those labels used to feel like limitations, I have come to see them differently. They are not barriers. They are leverage.

Dyslexia helps me spot patterns and “see around corners” in ways that are hard to teach. ADHD gives me bursts of intense focus, letting me juggle big ideas and fast-paced work like a championship-level plate spinner.

The tradeoff? Writing—especially polished, public-facing writing—is not my strong suit.

I have all the ideas. My brain runs 24/7. But spelling? Sentence structure? Editing?

Let us just say, I do not volunteer to write on whiteboards.

That is where LoriGPT comes in. She is not some anonymous AI ghostwriter. She is a carefully trained persona I created in ChatGPT to sound like me—my voice, my values, my leadership lens, and yes, even my dry humor.

Here is how it works:

  • I jot down my thoughts in bursts—often writing three or four posts in a single ADHD-fueled sprint.
  • Then I move them into LoriGPT to polish, clarify, and bring the throughline to life.
  • What you read here? That is the fusion.

And here is the best part:

You can do this too.

Most of you are already using AI for something—emails, research, maybe the occasional passive-aggressive meeting summary. But if you have not created your own GPT persona yet, I highly recommend it. LoriGPT is not magic. She is just well-trained.

If knowing LoriGPT helps shape this blog changes how you read it, I hope it is for the better. Because this is not about avoiding AI. It is about making it personal.

And if it means I get to keep telling stories, reflecting on leadership, and connecting with all of you—even better.

Gratefully,
